I tried this annual Monarda. It took it's time, but was worth the wait.
It was an off year for our hollyhocks, but we got this one bloom.

I know exactly what you mean, Laura. I'm sorry you're getting yet MORE snow. I hope it melts quickly. I love these photos. It was an off year for my hollyhocks too. I think it was those tiny weevils. This year I'm going to stay on top of them. The color you have pictured is my favorite. My annual monarda took forever too and I wondered if it was ever going to bloom. Nice shot with the feverfew and petunias!
