A website extraordinaire

Cornell University's Vegetable Varieties for Gardeners is a fabulous resource for choosing vegetable varieties to grow.

Vegetable varieties are rated by common folk like us.  Besides overall ratings, there are seperate ratings for flavor (my fav), yield (good if you have space issues or are growing to sell) and ease of growing.

It's where I've found a lot of the varieties that are now my standbys.

Check it out.  And next winter when things are slow again, add your own ratings.

Other resources for choosing varieties are on this page at my website.
